Phone us to arrange a topic, time and date convenient for you.

A Home of My Own

This eight-hour course prepares potential homebuyers with information regarding the process to purchase a home, down payment assistance programs available, fair housing rights and homeowner responsibilities. The resources provided allow you to make informed decisions about selecting a realtor, lender, and mortgage.

Those who complete this class will receive a Housing Education Certificate. This certificate is required by many lenders and down payment assistance programs to meet eligibility requirements for Affordable Home Buyer Programs.

Fresh Start Checking™ (Nevada Only)

A partnership with Nevada State Bank (NSB) provides consumers who have had a past banking problem which now prohibits them from opening a bank account, an affordable opportunity to open a checking and/or savings account.

Our financial literacy class on checking account management is required before opening the account. To obtain registration materials, visit any NSB branch. The registration form and a $20 fee are due to CCCS 2 business days in advance of the scheduled class.

Making Ends Meet and Dreams Come True

Also learn how to build and maintain a favorable credit history to allow you to achieve a more satisfying lifestyle.

Introduction to Your Debt Management Plan (DMP)
